I received the Highly Commended Poster award at the IUSSI NW European Section Meeting 2024. My poster explored how anthropogenic electric fields affect honeybee foraging from my MRes work the year prior

British Ecological Society Annual Meeting 2025, Edinburgh (18th December 2025) 

I had the amazing opportunity to present my work on spring cold snaps on bumblebee colonies at the BES 2025 meeting. I was honoured to receive the Olivia Norfolk Poster Prize for this work

ASAB Spring 2026, Bristol (25th March 2026)

I had the fantastic opportunity to give a talk at ASAB 2026 titled Quantifying the impacts of cold snaps on bumblebee colonies. I also helped organise the social aspects of the conference and chaired the opening session of the conference

International Congress of the IUSSI, Freiburg (16th- 20th August 2026) 

I gave a talk at the International Congress of the IUSSI in August which was ab exceptional opportunity to present my work and network with fellow scientists of the International Union for the Study of Social Insects within the ‘Social insects responses and challenges in a changing world’ symposia
